Der Boden unter den Füßen is my graduation film from ifs internationale filmschule köln. I was the director and co-wrote the screenplay with the wonderful Nathan Raimann. The project was funded by the Film Board of Northrhine Wesphalia and produced by my fellow student producers Martin Schwitzner and Mathias Krämer.

What if you could bring back a beloved person from the afterlife? For 40 year-old Hans-Peter Rabinowski this option sounds more than attractive. When a shady agency contacts him to resurrect his dead mother, he gladly accepts their offer. When Rabonowski´s mother is finally delivered he finds himself in rather unexpected situation. Mother´s Day backfires on him.

[Dokumentarfilm I 2006 I 19:40 Min.] Und plötzlich ist er da, der Gedanke an Familie und eigene Kinder. Dabei ist man selbst noch nicht erwachsen. – Wie wird die Zukunft mit Kind und Karriere wohl sein? Auf der Suche nach Antworten landet man schnell bei den eigenen Eltern. Mit dem Mutter-Tochter-Portrait “Frühlingsgefühle” nimmt Regisseurin Katharina Tillmanns den Zuschauer mit auf Heimaturlaub. Eine kleine Alltagsgeschichte und eine persönliche Reise durch die eigene Kindheit: “Hell aus dem dunklen Vergangenen, leuchtet die Zukunft hervor”.
